On 20th of December 2015, the new ENERGIRON High Productivity Direct Reduction Plant, installed in Ezz Rolling Mills (ERM) – Egypt, successfully passed the Performance test at the first trial just one month after the plant start-up.

The Carbon Series hammers and caps, which hit the market in 2012, are consistently providing customers with tonnages of at least double their previous capacity. One user reported figures of 11,000 tons per set of hammers, while caps are operating for up to 120,000 tons.

On June 1st, 2015, the Danieli CCM supplied to Baosteel Baoshan in 2008 resumed operation after a fast-track revamping which now allows it to cast round sections in addition to the original rectangular 320x425mm sections.

Cascade Steel Rolling Mills, one of the largest rebar producers of the West Coast, awarded Danieli the contract for the modernization of the existing rebar mill finishing end at McMinnville, Oregon.

Feng Hsin Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. Steel contracted Danieli recently for two important projects, continuing decades of successful partnership with the Taiwanese long products producer.

On Tuesday, 1 December 2015, Danieli hosted the visit of around 100 engineering students from the University of Udine and the University of Trieste.
