The Academy’s history
GENESIS
At Danieli Group, training has always been a strategic pillar, with deep roots dating back to 1995. That year, the company launched its first program for young technical school graduates: INdustrial DEsign (IN.DE.). The program was designed to ensure a smooth and effective transition from school to the workplace. Through this path, young talents could quickly acquire and consolidate both technical skills and soft skills essential to meet professional challenges.
In 2006, the program was suspended in Italy to be successfully implemented in key Asian subsidiaries, where technical offices in countries such as India, Thailand, China, and Vietnam required a significant boost. Today, thanks to IN.DE., these offices employ over 600 highly specialized technicians.

Danieli Academy is a strategic reference point for attracting and training young talent, facilitating effective and targeted onboarding. Recruitment activities span the entire year, thanks to solid partnerships with technical schools, universities, and research centers. These collaborations enable a wide range of initiatives, including corporate presentations, classroom lessons, career days, internships, and scholarships. In Italy alone, the Academy facilitates the employment of around 150 young professionals each year.

Danieli Academy isn’t only a strategic reference point for attracting and training young talent, but also plays a key role in the continuous skill development of internal staff. This ongoing commitment allows the company to maintain high competitiveness and innovation standards in its industry.
Each year, more than 60,000 hours of internal training are delivered, covering soft skills, technical expertise, managerial competencies, and safety training. This is made possible by a network of around 500 instructors, half of whom come from within the company and are specially trained to deliver up-to-date and focused knowledge.

The Academy was established to define an integrated training strategy that strengthens organizational culture, promotes shared values, and supports the achievement of corporate objectives. A concrete investment in building a solid and consistent corporate identity.
