Radiant Tube Section: the heart of strip annealing
BENEFITS
- Total weight reduction compared with W-type + conventional mixing nozzle burners using high performance Inconel 601 (3 mm Sheets thickness)
- Low thermal inertia compared to W-type + conventional mixing nozzle burners
- Increased efficiency, approx. 200 °C higher than conventional solutions, thanks to self-recuperative mixing nozzle type burners with air pre-heating temperatures up to 650 °C,
- Increased thermal uniformity (< 40 °C on radiant tubes)
- Reduced NOx - approximately 180 mg/Nm3 @ 3% O2 (subscript 2)
- 20% reduction of fuel consumption compared to W-type + conventional mixing nozzle burners
