A hands-on training opportunity

This program offers high school, ITS, and university graduates the chance to complement classroom instruction with practical, on-the-job experience.

Young students can enhance their design and planning skills by engaging in real activities inside the production department, gaining first-hand insight into machine manufacturing processes.

With a 24-month apprenticeship contract, up to eight months of which are dedicated to training, this program offers a real opportunity to become part of the Danieli team.

LEARN MORE ABOUT THE ROLES WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Our specialized tutors guide and supervise junior figures: mechanical designers, mechanical technicians specialized in assembly and machining, and buyers.

MECHANICAL
DESIGNERS

Mechanical designers undergo a six-month training program at Danieli Academy, designed to strengthen technical drawing and mechanical design skills. The program includes personalized training and engineering development in collaboration with the company’s Technical Departments.

Participants work in small groups and are mentored daily by expert tutors, selected from among Danieli’s top technicians, ensuring targeted and effective learning.

The program also includes guided visits to steel plants within the Group, for a firsthand understanding of the production processes. Furthermore, and a two-month hands-on experience in the Assembly department is planned to apply the skills learned in a real work environment.

SPECIALIZED
TECHNICIANS

Assembly and Machine Tool operators start their path with one month of training at Danieli Academy, focusing on design activities to refine their understanding of technical drawings.

Afterwards, the technicians dive into practical experience in the Workshop department, where they apply their knowledge directly.

BUYERS

Buyers immediately become an integral part of the purchasing department and, working alongside an experienced tutor, acquire the basics of commercial negotiations. Guided by expert tutors, they learn to handle commercial negotiations and understand purchasing decision processes.

To strengthen their technical background, the program includes a job rotation phase in the Workshop department followed by a one-month experience at Acciaierie Bertoli Safau, the steelmaking division of the Danieli Group — an invaluable chance to understand the industrial context in depth.
