Straightening is carried out by 3 main types of machine- vertical/horizontal axis multi-roll machines, two roll machines and 10 roll machines. Each machine type has different applications and Danieli offers a wide range from bar diameter 4 mm to 250 mm.

High speed is an essential ingredient of Danieli straightening machines, and this is combined with an excellent final bar/profile straightness down to 0.2 mm/m. Operating reliability and consistency of straightness are key factors of the Danieli designs with over 300 working plants world-wide since 1955.
Drawing and peeling lines must incorporate straightening machines, while after heat treatment bars also often require to be straightened
