New Danieli cold-rolling mill for Ton Dong A complex, Vietnam

Ton Dong A reconfirmed its confidence in Danieli by ordering a new cold rolling mill to process 400,000 tpy of low carbon, hot-rolled strip.

The selected twin-stand, reversing cold-strip mill will be part of a new cold complex in Phu My, in southern Vietnam. This investment will allow Ton Dong A to rase its cold-strip capacity to 1.2 Mtpy.

Featuring Danieli Automation process control, the new four-high mill will ensure high productivity, excellent flatness and high material yield.

The new plant will produce construction grades and material for home appliances starting from the end of 2026.

This will be the third Danieli cold-strip mill for Ton Dong A, which is currently operating two Danieli cold-rolling mills and two Danieli hot-dip galvanizing lines. The two mills have been running continuously for more than ten years, proving high equipment reliability, low OpEx, easy operation and high-quality final product.
