Hadeed sets new, high-carbon production record with Danieli Service support at Jubail

Saudi Iron and Steel Company (Hadeed) has achieved a new monthly production record at its Jubail works, reaching 103,227 tons of billets produced in October 2025, the highest output ever recorded at the plant. The result surpasses the previous record of 101,304 tons, set in July 2025. Finally, by December 2025 Hadeed set the highest record with an annual production of 1,110,081 tons per year.

The milestone was achieved with the support of Danieli Service, which provided advisory services for producing and processing high-carbon steel grades at the Danieli continuous casting machine, EAF, and rod mill with modern BGV system.

Danieli Service supported the production of 30,000 tons of high-carbon billets, rolled into 11-mm wire rod coils with 0.8% carbon content, ensuring stable operation, product quality, and output in line with Hadeed’s customer demand.

The Danieli-supplied EAF and rod mill, commissioned in 2015, are designed for an annual capacity of 1.1 Mtpy and 0.5 Mtpy, respectively, producing billets with 150 × 150-mm section and a wide range of special steel grades.

This result confirms the high technological level, flexibility, and reliability of Hadeed’s Jubail steelmaking complex, one of the most advanced installations in the region, and highlights the effectiveness of Danieli Service in supporting record production performances and challenging steel grades.
