Danieli partners with Max-AI® for advanced, robotic scrap sorting

Danieli Centro Recycling and Max-AI®, a division of the BHS Group, have partnered to offer robotic scrap-sorting systems for advanced metal recycling applications.

Max-AI technology, based on proprietary artificial intelligence and computer vision devices, enables real-time identification and separation of contaminants from metal scrap streams. Integrated into Danieli Centro Recycling shredding and processing lines, these robotic systems increase material recovery rates, improve scrap purity, and reduce manual handling.

The partnership combines Max-AI’s intelligent sorting capabilities with Danieli’s expertise in complete recycling solutions for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, supporting cleaner, safer, and more efficient recycling.
