More orders from SBQ producer Tyasa

Following the orders for a SBQ rolling mill, bar heat-treating and bar finishing services, the Mexican steelmaker Tyasa has selected Danieli Centro Maskin bar finishing technology ordering a new, patented pinion/rack drawing bench for the production of high-quality steel bars.

The new 60-t bar-to-bar drawing line, which will be installed at the Veracruz plant, Mexico, will process bars having diameters from 18 to 65 mm, at working speeds up to 35 m/min, granting high-quality finished products.

The new, patented solution will grant Tyasa optimal bar surface quality and unparalleled efficiency through new mechanical solutions and process control.  A drastic reduction of the noise pressure up to -50 dB, and an optimized power consumption up to -30% will be achieved. 

The supply will include loading area, shot blasting unit, 60-t double-strand drawing bench, cut-to- length unit, fully electric chamfering unit, NDT and automatic packing and unloading area. 

Integrated into an user-friendly interface, Danieli Automation advanced process control and devices will make operations easier and safer.

All the equipment, which will be manufactured at Danieli workshops, will be put in operation by mid 2026.
