Fabbricando 2026: Over 1,200 students take part in the 14th edition

The 14th edition of Fabbricando confirms its role as a key initiative in supporting younger generations on their journey toward technical and scientific skills and innovation.

In 2026, the project recorded a significant increase in participation, involving over 1,200 students, 116 teachers, 25 universities, and 43 schools from 19 Italian regions, along with a private institute based in Cairo, for a total of 112 submitted projects.

Through four dedicated calls addressing different educational levels—from kindergarten to university—Fabbricando provides a hands-on experience where students engage with key topics such as innovation, sustainability, energy, and automation, while developing both technical and transversal skills.

The projects, evaluated by panels composed of representatives from the education system, academia, institutions, and industry, stand out for their design quality, creativity, and ability to address real needs within the local context.

On May 16, the award ceremony for the winning projects took place, offering an opportunity for dialogue between schools and industry. The event was enriched by visits to Danieli’s production departments, the Acciaierie Bertoli Safau plants, and the laboratories of the ITS Academy in Udine.

This experience allowed participants to gain direct exposure to a highly technological industrial and educational environment, where people’s expertise represents the core of every activity.

Fabbricando once again proves to be much more than a competition: a true laboratory of ideas and skills, strengthening the connection between education and industry and helping shape the future of new generations.

La XIV edizione di Fabbricando si conferma un appuntamento sempre più centrale nell’accompagnare le nuove generazioni verso il mondo delle competenze tecnico-scientifiche e dell’innovazione.

Nel 2026, il progetto ha registrato una partecipazione in forte crescita, coinvolgendo oltre 1.200 studenti, 116 docenti, 25 università e 43 scuole provenienti da 19 regioni italiane ed un Istituto Paritario del Il Cairo, per un totale di 112 progetti presentati.

Attraverso quattro bandi dedicati ai diversi livelli formativi – dalle scuole dell’infanzia fino all’università – Fabbricando offre un’esperienza concreta in cui studenti e studentesse si confrontano con temi chiave come innovazione, sostenibilità, energia e automazione, sviluppando competenze tecniche e trasversali.

I progetti, valutati da commissioni composte da rappresentanti del mondo scolastico, universitario, istituzionale e industriale, si distinguono per qualità progettuale, creatività e capacità di rispondere a bisogni reali del territorio.

Il 16 maggio si è tenuta la cerimonia di premiazione dei progetti vincitori, un momento di incontro tra scuola e impresa arricchito da visite ai reparti produttivi Danieli, agli impianti di Acciaierie Bertoli Safau e ai laboratori dell’ITS Academy di Udine.

Un’esperienza che ha permesso ai partecipanti di entrare e vivere un contesto industriale e formativo altamente tecnologico, dove la competenza dell’uomo appresenta il fulcro di ogni attività.

Fabbricando si conferma così molto più di un concorso: un vero laboratorio di idee e competenze, che rafforza il dialogo tra formazione e industria e contribuisce a costruire il futuro delle nuove generazioni.
