Lodhia Industries selects Danieli Centro Combustion for reheating furnace at new long-product complex

Lodhia Industries has signed a contract with Danieli Centro Combustion India for the supply of a new 50-tph, pusher-type reheating furnace for its new bar and wirerod rolling mill complex in Tanzania.

This project is part of a major strategic investment reinforcing Lodhia Industries’ commitment to strengthening steel production capacity in East Africa.

The furnace will be designed with the most modern technology, complying with the latest safety standards. It will feature new-generation burners and an efficient combustion system to ensure optimal heating practices, higher thermal efficiency, and minimized scale formation and pollutant emissions.

The design reflects Lodhia Industries’ commitment to energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact, in line with its decarbonization strategy.

Commissioning of the new reheating furnace is planned for the first half of 2027.

The new reheating furnace will serve the bar and wirerod mill previously ordered by Lodhia Industries from Danieli, completing the technological package for the new long-product rolling complex.
